My mother
My cousin Annika called: "Where are you going for coffee today? I found
this fab place, why don't you come too?" Very well, off we went to Boningshuset just outside Svalöv pretty much in the middle of nowhere.
A whole buffet with cakes and cookies, coffee, loads of different teas ... and of course ice cream!
4
mothers (one behind the camera!) having a lovely afternoon together.
The house was built in 1847 and used to be a working farm, and is now a
life style shop with café in a very Swedish sort of old fashioned
surrounding with a big garden full of old plants and trees ... and
plenty of space for fun and games.
We were joined by yet another mother ... a proper mums' rally :-)
A
friend, who has become a very dear friend over the years, called and
said she would only be around to meet up while I was in Sweden the next
couple of days. So, come down to Malmö and we will have lunch! Great.
I
arrived by train at Triangeln's train station. She was alredy waiting
in the sun with a fully loaded bike. "Let's go for a walk". Ok ... ??
She took me to Pildammsparken, a nice big park in the heart of Malmö and started unpacking ...
Need I say more? We had a wonderful afternoon with very interesting discussions.
Thanks for sharing, Kaisa!
Completely
relaxed and with my head filled with new thoughts and inspiring ideas I
eventually took the train back to Dösjebro and spent the evening on my
parents' patio ...
Cheers!
Annika's crayfish soup with lots of crème fraîche and a chilled Riesling. Life is gooooooood!
