Due to possible unrest in connection with the election both Maia and Ian had the day off today in order to avoid having to go out at all. What to do?
We slept late, played games, went to the gym then suddenly found out that there was a possibility to go swimming. The pool here at the hotel was due to open this week. They filled it and found a leek!!! No fun for the guests occupying the rooms right below ...
Well, they have made a deal with another hotel here in town, the Park Plaza, with a non-leaky pool. The duty manager called Park Plaza to let them know we were coming, ordered a taxi for us, and off we went - brilliant service! I think there is a purpose with this particular leak ... the pool at Park Plaza is fantastic :-) The marguaritas as well ... We will be back!
